2026 Conference
Join us for the 2026 WACDVIP Conference: Innovating Accountability—ACTV and New Frontiers in Domestic Violence Intervention, taking place April 16–17, 2026, at the Kalahari Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells.
This year’s keynote is presented by Dr. Erika Lawrence, co-developer of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACTV) for domestic violence harm doers. Dr. Lawrence will guide participants through ACTV’s structure, evidence base, and trauma-informed approaches to accountability and behavior change.
Friday includes:
• Ethics and Boundaries with Harm Doers
• Two Layers Deep: Building Connection Through Shared Purpose — a hands-on pair-and-share community-building session
Additional conference features include exhibition tables, student poster presentations, chair massage sessions, a book exchange, and on-site Associate Membership sign-ups.
